What are you all doing tonight? Yea I'm working, wicked f'in fun. Bills and life just being a bitch has me working a second job drafting construction documents. Right now its a crazy 3 unit condo building overlooking the ocean. 2 car garage and private deck for each unit, double height living room with a massive fire place bonus room in the attic and basement, widow's walk. Have some rally fun.

ehh, i was looking for something more along the lins of mindless violence and racing....AKA fast and furious.

sub:
foot long club (roast beef, turkey and ham) white cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, olives, banana peppers and ranch on a italian herbs and cheese bun.

Good guess :) What gave it away?

I used to draw residential additions on the side. A couple of whole houses. I've got an architecture degree. I decided to go into teaching, when I was almost done with that.

I'm happy I chose teaching, but I've always found banging away on CAD to be very peaceful, even relaxing sometimes.

Whole houses are actually easier to draw than an addition, in a way. You don't have to worry about how to tie into existing structure.

I've drawn tons of garages and barns, with and without apartments above, just for fun. I have a whole library of shop tool blocks that I've drawn over the years.

Damnit, I need to install CAD on my computer now. Maybe one of these days I'll even learn Revit.

I'm introducing a friend to my boss before this Hurricane/Tropical Storm hits Oahu. Hopefully it's a successful meeting and he'll be my co-worker as well as friend soon.

Oh, and most likely I'll be working tomorrow for this damn storm.
